General Overview
This project aims to study ways to improve participation processes through the use of AI. Scale is understood in multiple dimensions, not only number of participants, but also length of the engagement, depth of the discussion, and the diversity of the participants.

Understanding Landscape Designers Rationales for Searching and Using AI tools in Urban Design
I am exploring how urban designers and landscape architects explore and decide whether and how to use AI tools to enhance public engagement in their projects. This project includes interviews, participant observations, and co-design activities.

We submitted a funding proposal to analize how can AI be responsibly leveraged to scale public participation beyond merely engaging more people to fostering deeper, more meaningful, and impactful civic engagement.
